Yamaha has launched FZ25 in India and international market few months earlier and finally it has reached the shores of Nepal too. It has been launched here in Nepal with a very aggressive price point and very interesting features with 249 cc engine capacity which is going to change the way higher capacity bikes will be seen on the roads very soon.

It is available in 3 color options:  Knight Black, Ballistic Blue and Warrior White. FZ is fuel injected which produces 20.3 bhp @ 8000 RPM and torque of 20 Nm @ 6000 RPM. It has the 282mm disc at front and 220mm disc at rear. Its a 250cc category bike but it lacks even a single channel ABS which is really a disappointment for such type of beast. Yamaha FZ has the blue core technology which always helps for better fueling and efficiency, it is estimated to provide the mileage of 25-30 kmpl though it depends on the rider.

FZ25 is one of the bike with looks and comfort for both rider and pillion, also the exhaust muffler sounds really nice and throaty. Let us move into the technical specifications of the Yamaha FZ25:

Lets talk about the competition, 250 cc is not so much popular category here in Nepal but it will directly compete with Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, KTM Duke 200/250, TVS Apache 200  looking at the price range and engine capacity and power.

MAW has tried to keep the price very attractively which will be the plus point for Yamaha Nepal which is the plus point and the introductory price is just NRs. 3,44,900.
