TVS promised us the Apache RTR 200 4V with Fuel Injection (FI) and finally, they have launched Apache RTR 200 4V with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi4V, is equipped with a Twin-Spray-Twin-Port EFI technology.
This makes the ride better, faster throttle response and a considerable reduction in emission levels. This makes the engine performance more linear and better usable power under varied ambient conditions which increases the performance. The engine will be much smoother and the fuel economy will obviously increase.
Now the power also increases, TVS Apache RTR Fi4V now produces 21 PS @8500 rpm with a torque of 18.1 Nm @ 7000 rpm. It has the top speed of 129 kmph and the TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi4V can do 0-60 kmph in a 3.9 seconds. Also there is an addition of ‘Royal-Crown Fly Screen’ (Visor) that comes in the 2 colors: Pearl White and Matte Yellow. The price has also been increased due to the addition of FI.
But it still lacks ABS which was promised by TVS by the time of launch of Apache RTR 200 4V. We hope that TVS is looking forward to launch the fully packed motorcycle by the end of this year or the first month of the 2018. As there will be the application of the norms for mandatory ABS system for the motorcycles in India. So we guess all the bikes coming to Nepal will also get the ABS. The hardest competition Bajaj Pulsar NS VS TVS Apache 200 is going on. Bajaj already launched Pulsar NS 200 with ABS so there is pressure for TVS for ABS.
You can read our article about Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 Launched with ABS here.
There are no other significant changes in the motorcycle rather than EFI and visor.
